Privacy policy

What we collect

  • Email list: your first name, email address and the page you signed up from.
  • Account: your profile name and a scrambled (hashed) version of your PIN. We never store your PIN itself.
  • Membership and payments: payments are processed by Whop. Whop handles your card details; we never see or store them. Whop shares your email address, membership status and renewal date with us so we can give you access.
  • Bet tracker: the bets you log, so we can grade them and show your record to you.
  • Site analytics (only if you allow it): Google Analytics 4 measures which pages people visit and how they move through the site. It stays off until you choose "Allow analytics" in the privacy banner, and a browser Global Privacy Control signal counts as no. We don't use advertising cookies.
  • Heatmaps: we record anonymous clicks and scrolling on this site, without cookies or anything you type, to improve its design. This uses Lodestar Pulse, run by our web developer, Lodestar Digital. It skips visitors whose browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, and it isn't used on account pages.
  • Technical: a few small settings saved in your browser (your privacy choice, dismissed announcements, your sign-in), and the security logs our hosting provider keeps.

How we use it

To run the service, email you about access and occasional free picks (unsubscribe anytime), grade your bets and keep the service secure. If you choose to share your record, we show your display name and summary record (wins, losses, units, ROI, number of bets) on the site. Your individual bets stay private.

What we don't do

We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it with sportsbooks.

Your choices

You can stop sharing your record at any time in the app, unsubscribe from emails, or ask us to delete your account and data by emailing hello@halfsharp.com.

You can turn analytics on or off at any time: change your privacy choices (also linked as "Privacy choices" in every page footer).

Where data lives

Data is stored with our hosting provider, Cloudflare, in the United States.
